After Bill Watterson stopped doing Calvin & Hobbs I didn't really read comics again untill my brother got me my first HellBoy comic. I was hooked. Mike Mignola is basically my hero now. Running close second for awsome art and crazy stories is Doug Tennaple's (the creator of earth worm jim) comics.
